As CFO, was responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, treasury functions, taxation optimization, and compliance. Involved with due diligence process for acquisition by Shell New Energies, a subsidiary of Shell Oil Company and managing the finance integration of Greenlots with Shell. ● Managed growth of over 180% in 2018 and maintaining significant growth trajectory into 2019● Executed sales transaction of Greenlots to Shell in January of 2019 (part of Series B fund raising) and assisted with the integration post acquisition.● Managing infrastructure construction and customer service divisions (hardware and software) globally reduced ticket backlog 80% and reduced response times by approximately 75% globally.● Oversaw the implementation of a new global ERP solution including automation and integration with the company’s various other business systems / solutions.● Reorganized and expanded company globally and established operations in Canada and India to gain access new markets to support growth initiatives in addition to expanding the company’s software R&D and network operations center in India to provide scale and 24 hour global coverage.● Launched company-wide culture initiatives including Spot-Light Speaker Series, culture and sustainability committees; volunteer days; and employee feedback programs

Working at Oxford Properties a wholly owned entity of OMERS, managed a team of over 20 staff responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated reporting of Oxford’s $30 billion global real estate investment portfolios and transmitting results to the parent company (OMERS) in accordance with both IFRS and Section 4600 pension accounting. • Reduced excess cash balances by over $250 million over two years, a 50% decrease globally while still adequately funding an extensive development construction program of over $1 billion annually.

Northwater capital is a boutique investment firm based in Toronto focusing on synthetic index pools, fund of hedge funds, intellectual property funds (venture capital) with over $1 billion in assets under management. At Northwater, was responsible for the financial reporting and audits of 40 publicly traded and private investment funds in Canada and the Caymen islands. Also a member of the operational hedge fund due diligence team that reviewed the finance and operational aspects of all hedge fund managers that the firm invested in and provided reports and recommendations to the investment committee.

Canada Life Financial Corporation is a Canadian company that offers life, health, and disability insurance for groups and individuals. It was acquired by The Great-West Life Assurance Company in 2003. At Canada Life in addition to my role as Senior Analyst in corporate treasury, managed the accounting function of CLMS (a subsidiary of Canada Life) and assisted with the integration of the business with Great West Life (acquirer) in addition to a sale of a portion of the business to a third party.
