Our work includes reports on newsroom innovation, management and hiring for the Reporters' Lab at Duke, CUNY's Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism and the American Press Institute.

Tracks the global growth and impact of political fact-checking and teaches journalism. Our research team works directly with journalists to develop and deploy tools that help some of the world's largest digital platforms identify and call out misinformation.

Oversee the growth of JournalList's trust.txt system to help elevate and monetize trusted news outlets. Our transparency process validates news sites and their official social media feeds by highlighting their affiliations with other prominent journalism and media organizations -- from regional news chains and press associations to national media organizations and trade groups.

Oversaw news coverage and editorial staff for NPR's website and other platforms -- from mobile gizmos to social media. Responsibilities included editorial product development; digital training for the newsroom and member stations; regular coordination with other business units on editorial and digital matters involving labor relations, marketing/communication, business development, sponsorship and fundraising.

Governing magazine and Governing.com were published by Congressional Quarterly Inc. Was executive editor from July 2008 until Governing's sale in 2009.
