With a proud family history of military service, Mark chose to join the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders while attending design school. Military service provided full time Summer employment and a great part time career while in school. While employed in the Reserves, Mark had the opportunity to take several courses including communications, leadership and driving various military vehicles including the transportation of dangerous goods. Additionally, due to Mark's interest and training in Graphic Design he was fortunate to have the opportunity to be employed at CFB Gagetown in the Training Aids Production Department where he participated in the development of training material as well as assisting the photography unit.
