Designed and developed Windows 95 based serial interface to USR’s first generation USB modem. Design consisted of two Windows 95/98 device drivers including one .vxd and one WDM driver. I was responsible for the design of these drivers and the interface between them.

Design Leader – Mwave Modem Windows Development (1993-1996)Conceived and led a design effort to move fax/modem control functions from the Mwave DSP to the less costly Windows environment. This sophisticated design gave our team the opportunity to add fax, telephony, V.34 data, and Voice-over-data functions to our platform while reducing hardware costs.Coordinated development efforts of 6 Windows programmers on 4 development projects.Architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of C language PC application/driver portion of the Mwave software modem – performance resulted in 2 promotions and addition of team leader responsibilities.Multiple operating system support via common code base.
