Recently, I joined the Globlue Team to assist in sales, development, and deployment of counter fraud solutions for the Special Investigation Units within the insurance industry. Our core Solution utilizes IBM counter fraud software such as IBM i2 Enterprise Insight Analysis, IBM i2 Analyst Notebook, Intelligence Analysis Portal, and Identity Recognition.

My responsibilities include the investigation of potential fraudulent claim or policy activities in Georgia and South Carolina for GainsCo Insurance Company. My duties included obtaining recorded statements, background investigations, collection of evidence, conducting examinations under oath, and working with NICB and law enforcement.

My duties consist of developing a comprehensive analytical program for Safe Auto Ins Co. Our program includes reactive and proactive initiatives, first alert processes, and development of fraud analyst to support field operations. The implementations of new software applications and re-tooling existing assets have greatly improved our efficiency and productivity to substantiate and find fraud.

I was responsible for the investigation of single or multi-claim complex investigations involving suspect insurance fraud. I covered the entire State of Georgia with a large portion in the Atlanta Metro Area. My investigations involved communicating with the handling adjuster, producing timely reports, obtaining detailed recorded statements, and submitting suspected fraud to NICB and law enforcement.

For eight years, I have managed an investigative unit which is responsible for the external and internal investigations, deterrence and detection of insurance fraud.

The position was responsible for the supervision of investigations, deterrence and training for the Houston, Texas and San Antonio, Texas Areas. While in this position, I built a strong relationship with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies; resulting in the initial coordinated efforts in imbedding insurance fraud into the healthcare anti-fraud efforts in Houston, Texas. While supervisor, developed a case management system that resulted in an increase of efficiency and productivity of the unit, and allowed analytical analysis of patterns and trends within case files. Successfully piloted three analytical software programs for possible consideration by GEICO Insurance Company to be implemented nationwide.

Responsible for the completion of complex multi-claims investigations involving property and auto bodily injury losses. Worked closely with claims adjusters to identify current and new fraud indicators, and assist in developing case referrals to SIU. Also worked closely with NICB, local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in Houston and San Antonio, Texas.
