I have been a Director of a number of successful companies. After leaving Austal, I started a commercial consulting business and my first project - taking the new Venetian Hotel in Macau from being a non ferry operator to one of the largest ferry operators in the world in just three years. The resulting contract that was signed for their new fleet was in excess of $300,000,000 and still stands as the largest ferry contract ever written!My current role is Managing Director of Echo Yachts as well as being the sole Owner of Echo Yachts and Echo Marine Group. I started Evolution Commercial in July 2010 and have a healthy order book ahead of us and have assembled a great team. In 2014 we formed Echo Yachts and have assembled a team of veterans to build an 84m aluminium Trimaran superyacht and a GRP 46m cat shadow vessel. We have capabilities now in aluminium, GRP, steel and all the way to the very highest, superyacht-quality standard.Specialties: Anything to do with advice or support with regards the purchase of a new vessel. we can write tenders, advise on the style and size of vessel best suited for an operation. Liaise with shipyards, negotiate contracts, provide cost matrixes etc.Yard services are simply everything and anything to do with shipbuilding and repair in aluminium, steel or GRP and all the way to Super Yacht standards if required.We have assembled a very experienced and tight knit team who are very passionate about what they do.We love refits and most of the refit work we take on is done by in-house staff, not external contractors.
