This involves listening to these clients' needs and learning about internal initiatives to develop customized proposals to support them.Given my tenure and experience working for Leviathan for the last 10+ years, my role also includes other tasks necessary to support the business. I have driven internal initiatives focused on improving nearly all aspects of company operations, including growing and maturing the PMO, developing sales & marketing strategies, assisting with employee training & onboarding, and more.The best part of my job is working collaboratively with other folks throughout the company. After working to support individual projects for the past 10 years, my responsibilities continued to increase and I was asked to take over management of key program initiatives at Leviathan. This role included continued support for important client projects, as well as overseeing and supporting development of programs related to growing business lines. Notably, I represented Leviathan in a working group overseen by Google with the goal of assessing the security of 1000's of its integrating partners.

I am a senior security project manager for Leviathan Security Group, managing private and public-sector technical engagements. I oversee projects starting during the sales process and through execution, delivery, and post-mortem. My key role is as a communicator and translator, often also acting as a trainer and mentor. The value of our work is always dependent on our customers' specific needs so keeping that business context in mind is paramount.Unlike project management at many other companies, my role also includes other tasks necessary to support and improve a small business. I assist in internal business strategy, sales & marketing, employee training & on boarding, and more.Day to day, I spend my time bridging the gaps between our project sponsor and project team, and between that team and our customers. In other words, I translate Leviathan's business needs into specific activities for our consultants. I also convey the results of our work into language that is relevant to our clients. I frequently co-author and copy edit customer-facing reports to better align what we did to our customers' business needs. Of course, I also manage project scope, expectations, and timelines. The best part of my job is learning from the projects we work on to continue to refine Leviathan’s business strategies and identify areas for improvement. In the past that has included developing new processes and tools for streamlining both project management and also the sales process. Through all of this, I am most comfortable working collaboratively with other people. I enjoy working together to define a problem space, discussing and analyzing it, and of course breaking up/delegating the work necessary to get a project done.

In my latest role in the at Sesame, I took over management of the calendar for all new installs. Once a new sale occurs, it was my job to call and schedule their install and training, coordinate with trainers, and otherwise manage the install process.

While working as a technical installer/trainer, Sesame decided to develop an Internal Sales team and began a search for people who both understood the product and had strong customer service skills. I was identified as the right candidate and promoted to a the Inside Sales department. I worked directly with the Director to build a new program for outbound lead generation, lead qualification, marketing campaign fulfillment, and general sales/marketing support. We worked hard to convince dentists and orthodontists to offer their patients modern, technological means of communication. When I initially started with the Inside Sales team there was literally nothing and we had to build the program from the ground up. Given my experience in both technical support and installation/fulfillment, and having interacted with hundreds of existing Sesame customers, I brought unique knowledge about how to position our services and products. I also helped develop sales strategies, scripts, and metrics for our team's work.

I was responsible for installing the Sesame and Sesame Interactive applications in dental and orthodontics offices and the subsequent training of office staff on their use. Well before smartphones were ubiquitous and everything was a web service, Sesame offered an online communications platform to automate email, text message, and reminder phone calls to our clients' patients. My role included extensive travel and onsite work. I had to provide technical support across multiple operating systems and hardware variants, as well as customized training for the staff that would be responsible for using and maintaining our software.
