In early 2022, I transitioned from my corporate career to pursue my lifelong dream of ocean voyaging by sailboat. I bought a beautiful old Cape Dory 36 and am now working with James Baldwin, a world-class sailor and sailboat craftsman, to refit the boat for offshore sailing. It's been a challenging but rewarding process, and every day brings something new and interesting. We've made good progress working through our project list, and I look forward to casting off in the months ahead.
