I was involved in the management of technological infrastructure within the Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities (FICC) business group. Tasks involved general IT support of all technology present on the dealing sectors of Foreign Exchange, Futures, Metals, Energy and Commodities.I was also involved in a variety of projects for both Remote Access and Desktop Design. These included patch upgrades to Macquarie's global virtualised infrastructure, software upgrade to the Citrix environment and the update of the global web-based gateway for remote users.

I aided in the servicing and modernisation of elevator systems throughout the Perth CBD. Servicing tasks included maintenance or lift and escalator malfunctions at various locations ranging from shopping malls to high-rise residential and commercial buildings. Lift modernisation involved the programming and replacement of ageing control systems. Tasks included the wiring of electronics from lift cabs to controller units, instalment of call buttons and indicators for floors, and the remodelling of the lift cab framework.
