About Mark Tietbohl

Everything matters…That statement pretty much sums up life in the digital age.... While this has always been true, the speed with which information travels and its pervasiveness and longevity is even greater now. Success in business, and in life, comes through knowing your internal value proposition, and remaining true to that position. Integrity, consistency, authenticity still shines through…and is even more valued than in the past.The continuous and relentless change we all live with makes understanding core personal and organizational authenticity crucial. Actions change quickly; knowledge changes quickly; understanding changes quickly; however, core characteristics should not. I would like to think that I am different (better) today, yet fundamentally the same.From my perspective:I am still comfortable with organizational and technological change. I lived through the shakeup of the direct mail industry and the formative years of the internet. When Fortune 50 company building new programs, entering new countries and contributing to the omnichannel integration team I continued to see the importance of change.I still seek ways for all parties in a business arrangement to win. I also seek to optimize, but recognize that you can only truly do so by taking action and measuring progress against that action. Optimization is a journey, not a destination: You start out with your best thoughts, execute well and work on continuing to improve. Agility matters, as does ongoing learning. Strategy...process...execution...measurement...and then again...I enjoy mentoring others…helping others to think through the challenges they are facing and how to best move forward. Ensuring internalization of the process of dealing with change is as important as the knowledge imparted.
