Early in Mark’s career he was grounded with experience in digital and analog hardware design as well as software development at Watkins-Johnson Company in San Jose, CA. This led to technical leadership roles that developed Electronic Intelligence platforms for the defense industry and delivered automated test systems for customers such as Intel and Mitsubishi Motors. Each initiative delivered, required the team to focus on business acquisition through proposal development as well as financial responsibility to the subsystem level.Mark then transition to the automotive industry and took a position Ford Motor Company where his small team launched the industry first telematics system marketing as Lincoln RESCU. He moved to General Motors soon after the launch and held many roles at OnStar that shaped the Telematics industry. Mark has held various technical positions from manager and senior manager to executive leadership. He has been responsible for the back office infrastructure, leading in-vehicle hardware development, systems operations and eventually end to end technical program execution with a career highlight of launching OnStar 4G LTE.
