I'm an experienced award-winning creative leader and marketing veteran with more than 20 years of developing branding identities, strategies and digital campaigns. Speaking of awards - they will NEVER replace the marketing teams I've gone to creative war with, but receiving Telly, Davey and Graphic Design USA hardware made the death-by-a-thousand-cuts executive approvals worth it all - even if those laurels might be sitting in a Las Vegas pawnshop now. My career path has led me to work in numerous fields, including newspapers, pepper spray, gardening books, toys, bank vaults and plastics - maybe rockets are next? I feel fortunate that my professional journey has allowed me to collaborate and grow with talented colleagues in varied industries. I may not be teaching a MasterClass in one specific line of business anytime soon, but I’m always passionate and committed to absorbing the brass tacks of new products or services - unless it involves spiders, explosives or wearing Croc footwear, then it's a hard pass. Although I need to keep financing my altrock T-shirt collection and Starbucks’ fix, my real work ethic motivation for building exceptional design solutions is driven by unwavering respect to champion the internal and external client’s needs to have both authentic and invigorating messaging that fires on all cylinders (while also keeping the board AND shareholders happy!).
