Sales Development in Light Commercial Vehicle Spare Parts throughout a franchised network in the South/East of England.

Aftermarket Business Unit ManagerRole and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Executive Director - Sales & Marketing, to manage the LDV Aftersales Team (19 Heads). Providing the LDV Dealer Network (130 + Franchises) with the full range of Aftersales support services, via a regional and office based team. This includes parts, tools, training, publications, diagnostics & CRM. Achieve parts sales in excess of £25M pa. Front reviews with elected members of the Dealer network to champion the development of LDV's Aftersales business. Conduct meetings with suppliers to improve parts quality and recovering costs where relevant.Supported the company's "VANfit" all makes parts programme, working with LDV's appointed wholesaler to engage contracts with key accounts in establishing a £3M turnover business within 4 years of start up.Manage the company's UK "MaxusAssist" roadside assistance service. Led the development of LDV's European roadside assistance network.Developed the company's Aftersales strategy for its European network. Supported the recruitment of 90 Dealers & their aftersales team in 2007. Support the international team in establishing importer relationships.Work with parent company (GAZ - Russia) to develop Aftersales platform for introduction of a new vehicle to their existing home market.Extensive liaison with personnel at all levels including the LDV Board, in progressing and reporting on Parts Sales Performance and resolution of Product/Customer Concerns.Control of significant departmental operating budget and warranty policy/goodwill funds.Ensuring effective communication with Department of Transport & Vehicle Inspectorate.Acting to ensure departmental conformance to Company Quality Standards - ISO 9001.
