I recently completed an assignment through Kelly Services working as an Inside Sales Representative in LaCrosse for Guardian Building Products. Guardian is a leading national distributor of a wide inventory of building products, with the home office in South Carolina. There are more than 30 stocking distribution centers located throughout the United States, selling to lumberyards and other building supply distributors.Previously I had the opportunity to learn and employ new skills through my work as Account Coordinator, then later as a Marketing Assistant at The Insurance Center in Onalaska. This was a brand new industry for me, and an exciting time as the company ramped up for the launch of the Affordable Care Act. A few years ago I started and operated a performance bicycle shop near Madison, Wi. It was a personal dream and a great experience. I continue to have an active passion for cycling, and shoot for 2,000 plus outdoor miles each season. Flexible to changing environments, a varied workforce, and adopting new technologies. College degree in Business. Energetic, logical and reliable.

    For much of my early career I worked for a telecommunications company providing cable television and digital video services, telephone service, and internet services in Western Wisconsin.My first role was as General Manager of Western Wisconsin Communications Cooperative (WWCC), a first of its kind cable television cooperative serving fifteen communities and a large rural area. This was an exciting time, as I had the opportunity to facilitate the introduction of new technologies including fiber-optics, digital and high definition video, business and residential internet service. I am particularly proud of the pioneering work done there to bring two-way interactive Distance Learning to eight school districts, and help support an active community operated public access cable station. Later I successfully coordinated a major business merger project between WWCC and Tri-County Telephone Cooperative, which formed Tri-County Communications Cooperative in 2006. When completed, I became Chief Operating Officer, in charge of video operations and internet services.An opportunity then arose for me to pursue my passion for bicycling. So I left the company to found my own business, ProCycle Bikes in the Madison area.
