Module and Course representative from 2019 to date.My duties include representing the class as well as individual students to lecturers and the department, raising concerns and coming to mutual agreements between all parties. Collecting anonymous votes and poles for lecturers, liaising with students and problem solving. This position includes yearly training by the Natural Sciences Committee (NSC) from the Science Faculty as well as quarterly meetings with other class representatives, the NSC and the Dean.

I was a Field and Research assistant to a MSc Student in our department from August 2020 to December 2021. My duties included but not limited to, assist with contacting and liaising with farmers, to provide transport and to assist with taking water samples. This required technical knowledge and skill to obtain water samples from different types of borehole infrastructure and to process the samples correctly. My problem solving ability as well as my ability to make on the spot informed decisions, defend-able at a later stage, were put to test and improved during this time period.I operated independently for the last 4 months of the project when the MSc Student went on exchange to the University of Lausanne.
