With over twenty-five years of global experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, I have dedicated more than a decade to the vocational education and training sector. My journey has been shaped by a passion for both training and the hospitality and tourism industry, with a deep commitment to raising service standards in Western Australia.My education and craft were honed in leading training organisations in Germany, the United States, and Australia. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, from prestigious five-star hotels and upscale restaurants to cruise liners, tourism operations, and renowned training institutes across the globe.My professional journey encompasses a diverse range of roles, from managing small boutique operations to overseeing large businesses with up to 300-400 staff members. I've also managed a private hospitality and tourism college, provided consulting services for an Asian Hotel Management Group, and led the hospitality and tourism section of a WA public training organisation to both state and national recognition, including several prestigious awards.Currently, I hold an executive position at an award-winning public training provider, where I manage a vast region spanning over 424,000 km². Beyond my daily responsibilities, I actively engage with professional organisations and have had the honor of judging competitions for esteemed bodies such as the Tourism Council WA, the Catering Institute of Australia, and La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.As an accomplished Operations Director, I have a strong track record of successfully implementing strategies within large, complex organisations.
