CurrentI am responsible for international arbitration and cross-border litigation for White & Case Germany. Some of my recent experience includes:- Representing an Indian EPC contractor in two independent arbitration proceedings (UNCITRAL and ICC) against an Arab state concerning two electricity infrastructure projects.- Representing a German development bank in an ICC arbitration against a South-Eastern European investor about a hotel development financing in Montenegro.- Representing a Japanese investor in an ECT ICSID case against the Kingdom of Spain concerning feed-in tariffs.- Representing an oil & gas consortium in an ICC arbitration against an Arab state.-Representing a German bank in a €122 million managing director liability case.-Representing a major international tier 1 automotive supplier in a cross-border dispute against a tier 2 supplier concerning the termination of supply agreements.-Representing a listed German media group in a post-M&A dispute with the seller of the target company.-Representing a system construction firm listed in the TecDax in SIAC arbitration proceedings against Chinese parties over a US$96 million damages claim.-Co-leading the German team that succeeded, alongside a Paris team, in winning a substantial victory on behalf of Daimler, the German car manufacturer, and its French subsidiary Mercedes Benz France. This major case before the Conseil d’Etat, the highest French administrative court, concerned an order from the French government preventing the registration of several of the car maker’s models.
