In my position as Development Lead I am responsible for the appropriate design of an assay for the early detection of a certain tropical disease infection. Therefore, I have to find a way from the achieved knowledge to the application in the real world to meet the market requirements and eventually to benefit the patients.My name is Markus Eckl and beside the assay development, I am responsible for design and further improvement of an internal software tool with globally 300 users. In this position, I have to monitor and consider customer and stakeholder requirements to accelerate the further development of this tool.I spend most of my spare time with my family and act on sailing events as a judge on a national level where I have to ensure the application of rules in the fairest way possible.
