I've been working with iOS since I wrote the first lines of code of the weather forecast app WetterOnline, aimed at expanding the business from a successful website to mobile phones in 2011. Over the following eight years, it grew to become Germany’s market leader, was localized in more than 25 languages, and reached countries across the globe. Taking the app to the first Apple Watch, we finalized it at the Apple Labs in London before its market launch in 2015. I have also created app projects for start-ups and established companies in various sectors such as health, matchmaking, and the automobile industry. Worked at XING, a widely used social business network in the DACH region, helping to notably reduce build times by optimizing the dependency graph of app modules and core infrastructure. Additionally, I organized local CocoaHeads meetups in Hamburg. Currently, I am part of Wire, working on the open-source messenger with end-to-end encryption and maximum security requirements, catering to governmental and military sectors.I love to share knowledge, lead hands-on workshops and shape the future of apps in a collaborative environment.
