About Markus Gehring

Recent PhD graduate in Electrochemistry with a focus on batteries beyond the Li-ion system. I am a generalist with a very broad education in materials and theoretical chemistry, spectroscopy as well as communication (user diversity, technology acceptance) and materials engineering. I have a keen interest in emerging technologies, data science and simulation, but also languages. As a multilingual, speaking German, English, Dutch, intermediate Japanese, as well as basics in many other languages such as French, Spanish, modern Hebrew, and Welsh, I am an asset to any international and intercultural team. I take pride in my structured and highly organised way of working and I enjoy collaborating with others. Supporting my colleagues/clients achieve the best results in the most efficient way, while learning something new every day is my main motivation.Currently, I am looking for jobs preferably in the mid-west of Germany (NRW, Rhineland-Palatine, Hessia), the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium or the Netherlands. I am open to work in variety of fields, including project management, process management, quality management, business consulting with a focus on technology.
