I had the amazing opportunity to Design and Project Manage a 36,000 sq. ft. home (Phipps Mansion) for a high profile couple. The project was supposed to be a 3 year implementation, but due to its complexities and high demands, it has taken over 7 years to reach completion of this amazing home. I was responsible for the design and implementation of all systems relating to Home Automation (Savant), IT Network (Watchguard/Brocade/Nimble), Audio Distribution (QSC Q-SYS to Sonance & Wisdom), Video Distribution (Just Add Power to Sony & Planar), Lighting Control (Lutron), Automated Shades(Lutron), Burglar Alarm (Honeywell), Aspiration Fire Alarm (Honeywell), 4K CCTV (Panasonic/FLIR), Access Control (Fujitsu), and Integration with the Building Management System. Each of these systems were the most advanced and complex I have ever seen for a residential home. Creating as-builts and technical documents for all systems was critical throughout the project. I also had the opportunity to design and implement a 25,000 sq. ft. training facility with state of the art Audio/Video Distribution called HAUS. It featured a Savant & Josh.ai control systems, 50+ Displays, Just Add Power for Video Distribution, QSC Q-SYS for Audio, Shure Microphone system, Lutron Ecobus lighting, and Lutron Shades for an immersive training experience.

The company’s main product lines included AMX, Crestron, QSC, Kaleidescape, Extron, Stewart Filmscreen, Lutron, Cisco, RTI, and many other major brands. As a team, our combined skills added creativity and ingenuity, while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing system with intuitive ease that met the budget goals of our clients. I had the pleasure of working with Disney ABC, Disney Imagineering, Disneyland, and many high profile clients demanding the utmost attention to detail. The company generated approximately $3 million in annual revenue and employed 15 professionals. Due to economic downturn, I closed the company in 2009.
