My work history has been strongly linked to innovation and providing new technically and commercially viable solutions to meet the market needs at hand. Designing product performance, control and also optimization has played a major part in this. On-site participation in production, conversion, application and end user trials has been a big part of this chain.Component and final product costing, and then on a wider scale product and market pricing, profitability together with product life cycle and portfolio management have always been close to me and one larger entity of my daily work.Related projects have been both short and long term by nature, and have ranged from smaller modifications to entirely new commercial concepts and product families, and also to new working processes.One of my strengths lies in project management. I'm keen on hearing the voice of the customer, defining the key performance criteria, creating project plans, schedules and feasibility studies, keeping things organized and running towards the set targets in close co-operation with the needed interfaces, while utilizing the available tools for analysis, control and reporting.Sustainability, in a form of recycling compatibility and lowering the CO2 footprint of various packaging formats, has played a major role in my work for the past five years. This has meant smart material usage, well-though material combinations, optimized material selections, new raw material development, joint development with related parties, understanding the following recycling chain's needs and respecting regulatory aspects. This is an area easy to get passionate about!I have had the pleasure to interface many different fronts internally and externally, both on domestic and foreign soil. This has been one of the richness’s of my work I’ve enjoyed in full. A great two year period in a foreign culture expanded my view on the world and gave me a little bit of additional perspective on life in general.
