IT specialist, acting mostly as a developer, working on several different IT systems operated by Finnish Museum of Natural History LUOMUS and its Biodiversity Informatics Unit, meant for the use of public authorities, researchers and the public. Some of responsibilities include:• Frontend development and maintenance on Laji.fi, a portal to create and access nature observations stored in Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility (FinBIF).• Backend development and design of the 3rd version of Kotka Collection Management System, and development and maintenance of its predecessor.• Development of a mobile application used both for general nature observations, and more specialized observations for multiple research projects.• Fullstack and backend development for smaller systems, other smaller programs, conversion and import of large datasets into FinBIF, and maintenance of our services.
