Property Administrator
Current• Property Management -Responsible for the management and maintenance of all government-owned properties. • Inventory Control - Maintain accurate records of property inventory, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and transfers. • Property Inspections - Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.• Vendor Coordination - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property repairs, maintenance, deliveries, and storage of assets. • Budget Management - Assist in budget planning and management for property-related expenses. • Documentation and Reporting - Prepare reports and documentation related to property status, lease agreements, and maintenance activities. • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and property-related laws. • Space Planning - Participate in space planning and optimization efforts to maximize property utilization and stowage aboard vessels. • Team Collaboration - Work closely with colleagues in property management and related departments to achieve common objectives. Facilitate constant communication with MARAD regarding property-related changes, policies, and updates.
