Leading a team of professionals in driving change across the Sulzer Division APS (Applicator Systems) from suppliers to customers to enable profitable growth. Main focus areas are: - Designing Supply Chain Network and implementing cost and service optimal set-up (e.g. centralwarehouse in Luxembourg, new production plant in Poland, make or buy decisions, relocations)- Responsible for logistics and international trade- Improving processes along entire value chain, physical flow and IT-processes- Establishing culture of continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma)

- Global transportation: consolidation of forwarders to achieve cost reduction >10%- Global inventory management: Implementation of inventory optimization program to ensure right level of service while reducing overall inventory (>5%)- Set-up of bonded warehouse in US: responsible for project covering location, legal, finance, processes, full ERP and customer integration- Customs: Development of concept to ensure compliance for evidence of origin in an efficient way- Reporting and Controlling: setting up Operations Cockpit to ensure global transparency- Various projects to support customers, suppliers and internal processes

- Acting as interface between Operations and further departments (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Warehousing and IT)- responsible for Operations-part in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process- Process Owner for "WMO-Process" (reduced routing of customer orders to multiple warehouses by 17% by balancing inventory to right location)- Project Manager for "Network-Redesign" with the aim to implement Hub-and-Spoke Network- Management of small but highly performing team
