  • Daimler Ag
Internship & Master Thesis (Research & Development)
    Daimler Ag Aug 2016 - Jun 2017
    Stuttgart Und Umgebung, Deutschland
During my first 3 month of internship I familiarized myself with several CAE tools like ANSA, Abaqus and Hyperview. Therefore I implemented an alternative shear device in ANSA by performing a CAD repair and preparing it (meshing, boundary conditions, use of kinematic elements like hinges,...) for the FE simulation. The calculation was done with Abaqus and the post-processing with Hyperview. For my master thesis I firstly tried to reproduce a highly anisotropic, asymmetric and pressure dependent material with anisotropic hardening in the elasto-plastic domain with the help of a provided model by Abaqus. Due to the lack of an adequated material model provided by Abaqus, I set up a new material model which suits the requirements of our material. In a second step the material model was then implemented, tested and verified with the user subroutine UMAT in Abaqus.

    Suzhou City, China
As an intern in Suzhou I got the possibility to work in an international environment on an own project. With the help of the local coworkers I developed a new database using MS Access. The database was able to organize the whole process of the plants tryouts and was successfully in use at the end of my stay.
