Summer internship program, where I got my first work experience in the SaaS-world as an engineer. Over the summer we built the beta version of an automated reporting tool used internally to reduce the manual workload of Customer Success Managers.

Worked at the TMS-group in Aalto University's NBE department as a research assistant. My work revolved around designing electric pulse profiles with MATLAB for a new generation multi-coil TMS-device, carrying out measurements and doing data-analysis & visualization.

I worked at the reagent production of Thermo Fisher Scientific Vantaankoski branch. The reagent production department manufactures products that comply with the IVD-directive. These products include, but are not limited to, chemical reagents to hospital laboratories and health centers and reagents to non-clinical industrial use. My duties were to bottle and label bulk products with an automation line, complete quality control for the finished product and pack them into boxes. The department also used the Agile (PLM) system that I got familiar with.

I was a course assistant in a freshman course in Matrix calculations for one period. The job entailed running two two hour sessions each week for six weeks. During the sessions the students completed exercises, and I provided them assistance when requested. I also graded the homework of the students.
