As a Group General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Bruker, a global leader in medtech, research, diagnostics and life sciences, I lead the group’s global legal, compliance, and ESG functions, with a focus on delivering business partnering solutions with an entrepreneurial mindset at fast paced and high agility, and enhancing sustainability performance. I have over 20 years of business experience in various industries, ranging from FMCG to technology, and in different roles and countries, spanning from start-ups to listed companies.I have successfully supported or led more than 50 M&A, seed and VC projects and post-merger integrations, as well as IPO preparation and underwriter presentation. I have also co-created the route to market, sales and DTC playbooks, and partnered on critical B2B and B2C ecommerce projects, software licensing, IP strategy and management projects, labor relations & negotiations, and designed and executed a GDPR readiness and a Human Rights compliance roadmap. At Bruker, I played a leading role in the group ESG strategy creation and deployment, as well as at JDE and Kellogg where I also have been leading the corporate communication, regulatory, nutrition and sustainability team in my region. I have a Ph.D. in comparative laws from the University of Heidelberg, and I am a certified key account manager and an executive leadership program graduate. I am passionate about team sports, and I speak English and German fluently.
