About Markus Egger

Markus Egger is a Publisher CODE Magazine, .NET Developer, President EPS/CODE. Microsoft MVP and Regional Director. at Code Staffing. He possess expertise in .net, wpf, c#, silverlight, software development and 45 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "The hardest thing about my recommendations for Markus Egger is to temper my respect for his body of work. By design, my charge was to develop all of our software projects in-house. Therefore, even though we did migrate projects from VFP to .Net, I never engaged EPS for this specific task. EPS did support us in that endeavor. See details below. I attended many (almost all) VFP DevCons from 1995 until around 2006. I attended many other conferences (mostly .net based) since then. Markus was always near the top of the list of engaging thinkers/speakers to see. He always left my teams with great ideas. When we decided to move new development from VFP to .Net, I knew I needed to talk to Markus. We ended up bringing him in for a week to give a wonderful, customized orientation to .Net for our VFP, PowerBuilder and Java developers. We also spent some time with our senior business leaders. While in our offices, Markus helped troubleshoot a particularly difficult VFP COM problem we had been unable to solve. That experience was very positive and beneficial to our company. In 2007 (after we had a few .net projects under our belts), we decided to move our key revenue generation product from VFP to .net. We decided to use Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). We needed to make some critical architecture decisions and on-going development from from a knowledgeable .net software provider. Due to the critical nature of this application, we did a through nation-wide search of viable vendors. EPS kept coming up from my research and the research my development leads were doing. We decided to use Markus and his team at EPS. EPS helped with many facets of our product delivery: architecture decisions, frameworks vetting, WPF controls, education for my teams, prototype development and consultation. Using Markus and EPS was a great decision. I would not hesitate to use them on a critical project in the future.", "I heard of Markus Egger long before I met him. A former boss gave our entire programming team copies of Egger's book for a Christmas gift. The book like the man is exceptional. Later, I worked for Markus and learned what a technology leader should be. Egger is smart, resourceful and always the absolute professional. His work ethic is unmatched. I still marvel at his ability to master so many leading edge technologies, write, lecture and run a business so successful that it has been listed in the Houston Business Journal's Book of Lists. In many circles, Markus is looked upon as a software genius and a person of great integrity and talent. In my opinion, he is all that and more.", and "Very professional"

Listed skills include .Net, Wpf, C#, Silverlight, and 46 others.
