I head the IT department at vub and have decisively built and shaped our product "vub | paperboy", the leading SaaS solution for knowledge management and specialized information in the DACH region. We bundle a lot of information from behind the PayWall and tailor it to the knowledge needs of the users. We have our vision - to develop a knowledge hub of information - clearly in mind.Previously, I worked at several startups. Among others, a platform for local merchants & service providers, a spin-off from an existing company that allowed existing clients to extend their advertisements to the digital realm. Then worked on a price comparison portal where there was a lot of fun with big data and catalogs/categories. Lastly, we worked on a startup idea for a free marketplace solution for online stores, which would provide a centralized shopping experience for users in one environment, without the stores having to register and list their products.My heart beats as an entrepreneur and I like to get into strategic topics related to the development of the company, product line or enterprise IT (architecture, DevOps, development). But I can also talk hours upon hours about financial markets, which is one of the fascinating topics for me. But the greatest joy of my heart is my private environment, when you see how it develops and I try to transfer this inner goodness to every team. Because you are only as good as the team that accompanies you.
