Markus is a musician, composer, producer and songwriter who believes that music and sound can tell stories. He finds himself most at home working in film, television, video games, and other forms of visual media. He often combines traditional instruments with electronic instruments and techniques. After studying music at George Mason University, he pursued playing bass for different artists, playing in stages around the world. Markus has worked with major brands and companies like: MLB, MLS, NBA, Fox Sports, Washington Post, NPR, Sinclair Broadcasting, CIA & Peraton to name a few. Not to be confined with just working on media, Markus has also worked with independent film directors, and major mobile video game companies such as Pixelberry Studios. He has released music that is being used by many social media influencers and content creators around the world under his electronic artistry project, Tide Electric. He explores many facets of electronic music in this project creating music from downtempo/chill electronica to ambient drum and bass.His ability to capture the vision of the project, and having great work ethic makes Markus an effective collaborator.
