Our vision for the Finnish space ecosystem was to be recognized as key player in the New Space Economy by 2025.Key responsibility areas:- I led the Business Finland New Space Economy program team- I communicated actively of program's business possibilities and added value to companies in different forums.- I activated companies and helped to create new business ecosystems- I ensured program's constant improvement for customer value

Key responsibility areas:- I managed and led a team of advisors, providing internationalization advice to Finnish SMEs- I advised Finnish SMEs in issues relating to their internationalization and services available in Finland to support their internationalization process- I connected with local and global networks in order to both support my Finnish clients and the clients of our international network partners- I coordinateed the national Enterprise Europe Network consortium

Key projects/programs include:- Africa Project (2010 – 2012): I developed Finpro’s global network in Africa and our capability to operate on the continent. I had frequent client engagements focusing on business development in Africa. Media dialogue and high level stakeholder management.- Foresight Project (2009 – 2010): I developed Finpro’s foresight strategy and activities. I implemented foresight related client projects. I developed Finpro’s Africa strategy.- Big Science Program (2008 – 2009): I lead a team of 5 expert consultants. I activated and helped Finnish industry to succeed in proposals made to big European scientific projects. I pushed technology transfer, R&D projects and networking between scientific centers and Finnish industry

I worked in several large satellite projects, such as Rosetta (http://sci.esa.int/rosetta/) and BepiColombo (http://sci.esa.int/bepicolombo/). They had total budgets of hundreds of millions of euros and their yearly budgets varied between ten and one hundred million euros.Key responsibility areas:- I was responsible for finance in the project management team- I acted as the project manager’s deputy, as necessary- I ensured that the project was accomplished within budget and on schedule- I prepared Invitations To Tender and evaluated the proposals made by contractors- I acted as a negotiation team member for large scale spacecraft and launcher contract negotiations- I negotiated independently smaller contracts and contract changes- I supervised our contractors- I advised my team members on contractual and financial issues- I organised logistics for spacecraft launch campaigns
