Chro And General CounselEvidensia Eläinlääkäripalvelut Oy Oct 2021 - Mar 2022Vantaa, Southern Finland, FinlandDuring what turned out to be a brief stint at Evidensia and the veterinary services industry, I was Evidensia’s CHRO and General Counsel. I was also a member of the management team, my sphere of responsibility entailing both Evidensia’s HR and legal affairs. While heading the Group’s HR unit and actively taking part in the operational HR work, I was also regularly engaged in business-related contractual matters, claims and disputes. The fall of 2021 was an interesting time for Evidensia. Following the purchase in late August of Omaeläinklinikka Oy, Finland’s second largest veterinary services provider, the Evidensia Group suddenly got an infusion of almost 500 additional employees. Of the entire personnel, almost 1,000 worked at the Evidensia clinics and animal hospitals and the 500 employees new to the Group at the Omaeläinklinikka clinics. Directing the processes of the organizational changes and the harmonization of practices and policies within the newly expanded Group, while at the same time being heavily involved in the day-to-day HR routines, was certainly more than a pawful. All in all, getting acquainted with Evidensia was, professionally and otherwise, an eventful and memorable experience. It was, by far, the most intensive single period of my career so far.Through the Omaeläinklinikka purchase, the overall turnover of the Evidensia Group would grow to around EUR 90 million. At the end of 2021, the Evidensia Group comprised an overall of 1,500 employees. -
Head Of Hr Legal, Finland & BalticsNets Denmark A/S, Finnish Branch Aug 2018 - Oct 2021Helsinki Area, FinlandI was responsible for the legal side of Nets' HR practice in Finland and the Baltic countries, as well as for all the thereto pertaining HSE-related matters. Labor relations constituted the most essential part of my job.
