• Between contracts and in my spare time I started my own company and did the following Entrepreneurial Activities:• Laser Scan and Reverse Engineer complex parts and objects using Faro Laser Scanner Arm and Geomagic software. With these object I create a polygon mesh to convert it into a Nurb surface and solid part.• Designed and patented a new Fail Safe Integrated Saucepan and Colander. This unique invention is recognised by Trevor Baylis Brand (TBB) and Anthony Worrall Thompson.• I am progressing with new inventions and assessing ways to market these inventions. Current inventions are: as above, Garden Tools for the elderly and disabled, and ‘alternative energy products’.• I have also been asked to do motivational presentations for the local university to motivate undergraduates to see how it is once they have left university.• Obtained recognition as a mentor for the NEA (National Enterprise Academy). As a mentor I was responsible for helping young individuals achieve their maximum potential in their enterprise work and nurturing their ideas into their ideal business.• When the Market Crashed a second time I was made redundant. • Reverse engineering role where I was responsible for developing parts and assemblies currently bought out from competitors and reducing the reliance on them, by finding a better price by design and by supplier. • This was a new role to the company and I was responsible for the development of it, by driving new ideas or strategies as a backbone to work from whilst simultaneously delivering cost effective products.

• I Project Managed the Design, Manufacture and Install of Ergonomic Assistors and Manipulators for vehicle builds on production lines in the Automotive Industry.• Customer facing role that deals with large corporates such as Jaguar Landrover (JLR), VDL, Rolls Royce, British Airways.• Manage project plans/scope and planning ensuring that changes are documented to allow tracking and invoicing• Manage multiple projects concurrently, writing all technical documentation with regards to customer’s specification requirements such as P/FMEA’s, Service Manuals; Risk Assessments and Method Statements and to be certain that a high quality product and communication is delivered and installed.• Responsible for end to end leadership of specific customer projects from launch through to installation. This includes ensuring the availability of necessary resources, managing all customer and internal communications, project costs and delivery timescales. • This role was a promotion from Senior Design Engineer (as below).• My responsibilities entailed; linking the factory floor and the managing department with my multidisciplinary knowledge in M&E services. Responsibilities also included; Assuring quality products produced from the factory to the client following ISO9000 and ISO14000. • Logged the products into the system and checked that the build was of ISO standard before shipping to the client. At the same time I ensured that wastage from the build was kept to a minimum.• In charge of subcontractor quality management on the factory floor and ensuring that they kept to high company standards by setting out and issuing protocols for them to work to.• Achievements: The project that I had been involved in from conception had been implemented at the Royal London Hospital and was the biggest project of its type in EU at that time (2007/8).

• Developed and oversaw the multidisciplinary Design Projects of modularisation to the Mechanical & Electrical services for hospitals using Auto CAD and Autodesk Inventor.• As a Team Leader / Senior Designer for a £17million contract, my position was to: (1) lead and help manage a team of designers (2) liaise with the factory team constructing the modules and (3) communicate with the client/contractor so that the production of the modules, due to the time constraints, went as smooth and efficient as possible.• Achievements: Due to my efficiency of working and being consistently proactive SAS International promoted me to Quality Assurance Manager.
