Serves as Newark’s official COVID-19 response lead, resulting in a decrease from 68% case positivity at the height of the first wave in April 2020 to less than 2% test positivity by mid-August 2020, bringing Newark national recognition. Leads the development and implementation of Newark’s COVID-19 Vaccine Program, which includes extensive community outreach and education efforts. Responsibilities also include serving as CEO of the Mary Eliza Mahoney Health Care Center (MEMHC), the federally qualified health care center that serves the largest percentage of disenfranchised and marginalized clients classified as living in “extreme poverty” in the city.

Awarded eight-figure contract with the New York City Department of Juvenile Justice to provide the medical and dental services to all youth arrested and detained in the five boroughs of New York City. Provided these health services and health education, 24/7, to the 3 secure lock-up facilities and 17 non-secure group homes. This was the first time such a contract was awarded to a minority-owned healthcare company.

Directed ambulatory care program management and administration for Children’s Hospital of NJCN’s 200-bed adult hospital, which included contracting, new business development, and physician contract negotiations. Developed the hospital’s first ambulatory QA Program with focus on CQI and developed a physician productivity and compensation program to guide staffing and salary determinations.
