Responsible for the Organizational Development and Training initiatives of Akebono North America consisting of 5,000 employees across 5 plants in 4 states. Part of a global team developing the global learning and development effort. I advise managers in all facets of learning and development.Expertise in assessments, learning methodologies, curriculum development, learning management systems, High Potential and Key Position employee initiatives, and succession planning.Last Projects: Rolling out a learning initiative across all North American plants using the TWI training method, Training the Trainer on TWI methodology, Revitilization of Supervisor training, Hi potential program, Key Position identification, succession planning, and New Hire Orientation.

I enlisted as a Mortarman in 1985, retired as a Major in 2018. In between was a wonderful adventure of the highest of highs and some days of uncertainty. I had the privilege of serving as an enlisted soldier on both active duty and in the TXARNG, and as an officer on active duty, in the National Guard three times, and in the Army Reserves twice. I took a unit to Iraq, saw much of the world, and got to see both of my sons follow me into military service.Not bad for an uneducated country boy from Cut-n-Shoot, Texas.
