A member of the APAC ETF Capital Markets team within BlackRock Global Markets & Index Investments. Responsibilities include protecting and growing trading of ETFs by actively monitoring and improving the ETF ecosystem, overseeing market maker and exchange relationships, and working with industry partners to improve the trading ecosystem. An influential contributor to the Product, Strategy & Research team at Global X, through managing the maintenance and development of the firm’s Exchange Traded Funds across Fixed Income, Thematic Growth, International Access, Commodities, Core and Cryptocurrency suites. Mark has facilitated the launch of 19 new ETFs to trading status onto the ASX and seen.

Facilitation of the review and admission of AQUA products, including ETFs, Managed Funds, mFunds, Structured Products and Warrants. Assessing new product proposals against ASX Operating rules and ASIC regulatory guidance; presenting proposals to panels, management, legal advisors, ASX compliance; and establishing recommendations as to whether applications.

Enforcement of ASX operating rules/procedures, market surveillance of listed company’s continuous disclosure obligations. Supporting market participants to operate and maintain a fair, orderly and transparent market across the ASX Equity/Future Derivative markets and ensure adherence to ASIC’s Market Integrity Rules.
