As my business life has evolved, I have discovered I am passionate about building successful and ethical businesses from the ground up. Particularly if the business has the ability to reshape the industry in a positive manner. After starting Smarter Solutions and watching it grow, I thought I might be done. Last year, I found a very significant opportunity through another entrepreneur and friend. Sometimes opportunities come along that have such huge impact you have to say "yes." Plastic once held promise and it did deliver. Sadly, it has also taken over the ecology of our world and not in a good way. I liked this opportunity so much I've hung up my Realtor hat and moved to divest myself from SS+. Born and raised in Texas I attended the University of Texas in Austin and then the University of Würzburg in Germany. While waiting for my diploma to arrive in the mail I served two years in the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Moldova where I received recognition for my outstanding contributions from President Clinton.In addition to real estate, manufacturing, and community service, I've been an active investor, entrepreneur, and businessman having served in several senior executive positions at multiple companies as a President, CEO, and COO. I have also served on the Board of Directors for several companies and assisted in multiple startups within the green technology field.I met my wife at Ginny's Little Longhorn while out listening to local musical legend Dale Watson. Within weeks of meeting I knew she was the one and we married within a year. We've lived all around Austin but have settled into the Great Hills area with our son and dog. In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends and travel.
