On contract building commercial websites for VML clients utilizing Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC (the pattern and the product).

I worked with Kohl's to reengineer the Point Of Sale software used in over 1000 retail stores in 49 states.

Design and develop user interface elements of new and updated engineering applications to meet client needs.

Develop core code for a real-time data collection system known as dcLink, a major commercial product for DSI. This involves extensive communication via Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), XML manipulation, configuration management and update UI for dcLink administrators and mentoring other developers.

Augment and annotate drawings used to detail steel buildings for the workshops where the building parts are fabricated.

Developed a smart client (ZaX Terminal Client) with related applications and did extensive work on Utility Computing Platform (known as the “CORE” to Zeratec). Worked extensively with WPF, WCF, XAML, XML,.NET 3.0, and C# in building this solution for the Air Force Surgeon General.

Developed application to subset XML Schema Definitions defined by NATO into smaller compliant schemas. This was a GUI tool written with WinForms,.net 2.0 and C#.

Updated applications for Union Pacific Railroad and developed reporting tools for these applications. Work in C#,.NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft C++. This was a project to annotate images taken of cargo containers and trucks entering and leaving railroad depots and then to centralize handling of these images.

Led development of GUI environment for tax software used in tax offices and many internals of the tax engine used online and in the tax offices. Work is mainly in Delphi, C# and C++. The Tax Engine I worked on was used by over 100,000 associates in Tax Offices and millions of users on the Internet to prepare millions of tax returns every year resulting in.

Developed applications for clients ranging from EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) communications and translation to customer ticketing systems. Project was a complete rewrite of an existing DOS-based system into the Windows environment. Software was developed with Delphi and an assortment of third-party tools for Delphi.

Developed and supported applications in an Oracle relational database including a job-cost accounting system. Performed system management tasks on an Open-VMS cluster such as software installs, security management, integrity checking, disk management, and worked with hardware and software vendors, both PC and VMS.

Developed and coded various MIS systems including billing invoice systems, shop-floor control systems, hourly payroll systems, and customer applications ranging from direct mail to an assortment of large printing and publication jobs. Managed the Shop Floor Control System used in the Central and Western regions of the company.
