Based in the Irish Sea (Centrica Energy) responsible for maintenance and inspection of 11 offshore cranes on 8 separate instillations. Focal point/company representative for cranes ensuring all work is completed in accordance with legislative, corporate and manufacturer’s recommendations. Responsibilities include general maintenance, ensuring all LOLER certification is kept up to date, generation of work orders & ordering of parts via SAP, reviewing engineering work packs for future work scopes and supervising maintenance teams/vendors when carrying out large work scopes. Registered performing authority which involves generating PTW & risk assessments for all crane related work, ensuring work sites are kept to a safe standard and conducting task tool box talks.

Visiting various offshore locations, main responsibilities are maintenance, inspection and repair of Offshore Cranes in accordance with legislative, corporate and manufacturers recommendations.Projects I have been involved in so far include carrying out large scale overhaul of customer equipment with replacement of all major components and completing full testing and commissioning procedures before releasing equipment back to the customer. Responsible for the Health & Safety, Environment, Quality and all site engineering activities on a shift basis my current role consists of leading a team of mechanical fitters, electricians and fabricators to inspect, maintain and repair a variety of mobile and static plant equipment across four sites.Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift system I communicate with production and engineering team leaders to ensure asset downtime is kept to a minimum and maintenance is provided on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year.Responsible for the maintenance of over 100 assets varying from PLC operated robotic scarfing machine, screening plants, cranes, excavators, loading shovels & 100 Tonne Caterpillar dump trucks.Experienced with Hydraulics, PLC's, High Volume Oxygen Propane & Nitrogen Systems, Dust Filtration Plants, Screening Plants, Engines, Transmissions, Drive train systems, Winch Systems, Compressors, Gear Boxes, Safety Limit systems and Electrical systems.Experienced with IT packages such as Oracle asset management, JDE and Microsoft office (word, excel, project, power point & visio). Responsible for raising maintenance work orders, sourcing and ordering parts, writing downtime reports and ensuring maintenance personnel time sheets are accurate to provide accurate costs for every individual engineering task.Other responsibilities include devise and implementation of 5'S Projects, issuing of permits, routine housekeeping inspections, carrying out on site safety audits, behavioural observations and accident investigations.
