Managed a small team of one designer and two developers. Handled cost-benefit analysis for all tech needs for a technology startup. Architected and rebuilt a custom wine e-commerce site/marketplace in only five weeks, including backend and frontend. Implemented complex wine club to handle unique shipments based on local laws and licenses down to the zip code. Built two sided order management for consumers and wineries. Designed and built custom escrow and money distribution system to comply with wine distribution laws.

Launched Hatch, our new manufacturing program management software, which helped drive 32% revenue growth in 2018. Facilitated the development and rollout of a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) which merges concepts from git and bills of materials (BOMs) for high variability manufacturing. Built MBX Connect, a query engine and API for internal and external customers which includes side loading, complex predicates, and automatic table joins. Winner of the 2016 and 2018 Manufacturing Leadership Award. Lead team that helped build Forge, MBX’s automation system.

Senior developer on a site that receives 50M hits per month. Rebuilt search engine framework for faceted searches. Implemented a single sign on solution which allows logging in with multiple social media accounts. Managed multiple production deployments on multiple machines with zero downtime. Optimized page load speeds across entire site. Designed new method of upgrading legacy application using a new system of component hosting and efficient use of caching. Designed and developed order management and processing software with high up-times. Ran for over one year with zero downtime. Architected and built new distributed architecture that manages all automated processes. Built messaging system using MSMQ and RabbitMQ across multiple platforms and languages to simplify a monolithic application into multiple high performance services. Built award winning data abstraction layer for Aptify on top of NHibernate and ActiveRecord. Built high reliability, high performance client/server applications using both C++ and C# for futures and options trading. Created real-time, high throughput price quote distribution system. Built network analyzer system for use in debugging real-time network data including real-time and delayed views of high volume traffic and data.

Software lead and architect on multiple cell phone prototypes. Implemented full software prototypes for proof of concept testing before hardware was built. Developed software for many embedded Linux based proof of concept prototypes. Helped invent new concepts and technologies including one patent publication. Built software suite for original MOTOROKR E8 prototype.
