The Micro Equity Development Fund (MEDF) is a for-profit, social enterprise that provides both debt and equity investment opportunities in microfinance. The MEDF seeks to connect global investors with MFIs and their clients. Primarily focused on introducing a new micro-equity investment vehicle to fuel new growth and development opportunities, and with a focus on job creation.The MEDF platform provides MFIs and their clients with additional access to capital and new growth opportunities for microenterprises, while offering investors the chance to make socially responsible investments with competitive returns.
