Plan and execute internal audits for privately-held and public companies to ensure compliance with regulatory and organization standards.Part of an audit team that conducts internal audits and reports the accuracy of financial transactions, reported results and compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and standards.Assisted clients with the preparation of 10K, 10Q, 8K and other SEC reports.Prepare financial statement reports & documentation supporting audit opinions.Responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting audit, review and compilation engagements; industries include manufacturing, pharmaceutical, advertising, biotechnology, photocopying supplies, diversified machinery, gold mining, oil and gas, distribution and service industries.Performed various stages of audit including but not limited to: fieldwork in the areas of compliance testing, cash, AR, inventories, fixed assets, AP and accruals.

Accurately report the results and submit to Controller for final review.Timely and accurate completion of the monthly close process; including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of account balances.Performed all AP functions including sorting of invoices, coding, posting of invoices and check processing.
