  After graduating from university in 1999, I joined Connect! - one of Europe's leading providers of Digital Reprographics and Photopolymer Printing Plates.Having served a 3 year apprenticeship, I became Team Leader of our Artwork Department.Working to brand guidelines, my main role here was to generate digital artwork, coordinate and liaise closely with our client, and to oversee work produced by fellow members of the team.A few years later, I joined the Reprographics Department, producing print-ready files using applications from both Mac and PC platforms (Deskpack, Packedge, Plato, Automated Engine).An internal opportunity saw me join the Customer Service Department for 6 months.Although temporary, it was during this period that I acquired a very good understanding of order entry (using our bespoke Management Information System) and a greater appreciation for strong customer relationships.Thereafter, I moved back to Reprographics and was later promoted to Supervisor.Working shifts which alternate weekly, I am currently responsible for a team of senior Repro, Artwork and QA operators.Lending my skills to all three of these areas, I'm also responsible for production planning as well as the training, development and performance of my shift.Other responsibilities within the company: First Aider and Fire Marshall.
