I worked in the Meat Department where I assisted customers with a variety of questions. I often was required to synthesize information with missing components, understand what is best for the customer, and deliver a few simple options that meet their needs. Furthermore, I became adept at carrying issues and questions as far as I can with my knowledge, offering up reasonable solutions and alternatives, while recognizing when a problem or question should be brought to my superiors.

While at IBM I worked with a diverse group of professionals dedicated to the careful and precise wafer measurement. I was afforded the opportunity to interact with coworkers many years my elder, which allowed me to build relationship skills that will prove useful as I progress into the field of actuarial work. At IBM I was able to quickly acquire several skills and tool certifications, as well as working in tandem with engineers in order to successfully resolve issues as they surfaced.
