The last 16 years have been a wild ride for me in the world of construction project management. I've had a myriad of different projects for a wide range of clients. They've all been successes or learning experiences and have all contributed to where I am today. I'm interested in developing robotic tools for the construction industry to alleviate the critical shortage of manpower now and forecasted into the future. If we're going to colonize Mars, and/or the Moon, we need to be able to send robots ahead of humans to build our habitats. I believe we can leverage the robotic construction tools developed for space exploration to revolutionize the construction industry and ultimately automate environmental clean up. We can tackle the cleanup of the massive amounts of pollution we've created that is too costly for human endeavor (or too dangerous). We need to make an effort to thwart the environmental damage we've created. Let's develop the tools to uncover what we've buried, sift it, sort it, properly dispose of the bad, recycle what we can, and reclaim what we can for the betterment of our planet and future generations. It will take more manpower than humankind has to offer to clean up our planet from our mistakes.
