My role involves:- Applying innovation resources to the urgent decarbonisation needs of industry. - Setting up pathways and infrastructure to commercialise innovations across NSW universities. - Unlocking and shepherding electrification and energy systems innovations. - Readying innovation initiatives for commercialisation. - Building the network of Industry collaborators, government and agency stakeholders, innovators, entrepreneurs and funders in this space. - Creating decarb impact by facilitating industry roundtables to derive investigation pathways addressing industry barriers and opportunities- Accelerating the scaling and impact of early career researchers' innovations through a program of support, education and networking

Advising ClimateTech startups and associated enterprises approaches to accelerate partnerships and product commercialisation.

- Providing Program Management, Change Management and Scaled Agile transformation services to complex technology landscapes- Advising mature industries how and where to repeatedly innovate- Reengineering business processes through Lean approaches- Implementing transformational technology platforms including digital publishing, digital asset management (DAM), customer relationship management (CRM) and manufacturing resource planning (MRP)- Vendor management during implementation (including Infor, OpenSource, EidosMedia, SalesForce, Cognos TM1)

Mark was responsible for the delivery of the Sabre solution portfolio to Virgin Australia. Delivered solutions and services include mission-critical programs, customer-centric products, data analytic enablers and a responsive B2C platform.Mark was answerable to the client CIO for the quality delivery of all product implementations (upwards of USD20M p.a.). Using coaching skills, he undertook a program to improve the program management maturity of Sabre and the client. Similarly, he has initiated innovation that improves delivery quality, targeting a reduction in client-identified defects by 40%. At any point in time, Mark had between four and twelve concurrent implementation teams reporting to him. He has delivered cost-saving benefits of over AUD3M p.a. to the client.

Planned and deployed business problem management system. Launched full pilot scope on schedule in July 2010.
