Responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing e-waste material as per R2V3, Responsible Recycling, standards through our Chilliwack facility. This includes working closely with EPRA and Return-It programs as well as our qualified down-streams to ensure material is coming in and being shipped to standard including dangerous goods (TDG).Other responsibilities include training and sustaining team members to ensure best practices are being performed in house to meet the same R2V3 standards in preparation for our annual certifications, which are successfully achieved through this department and others each year.Also responsible for managing our AMS department, Asset Management Services, in Chilliwack which focuses on the refurbishment and resale of qualified material through certain approved customers under the same R2V3 standards. This department requires a higher level of responsibility and training due to the resale aspect and requires a higher level of packaging and shipping.These added responsibilities assist in the continuous improvement in both eCycle and myself to provide added value and sustainability through R2V3, our core values and positive work environment.

Responsible for ensuring the safe receiving and handling of end of life electronics as per environmental standards and also ensuring all team members are well versed with the same procedures for one of the largest electronics recyclers in Canada. I have also built a good rapport with all of our downstream's to ensure compliance stays a priority when scheduling shipments to them.I have built great relationships with many departments including transportation, finance, sales and customer service to ensure company standards remain a priority.I work closely with a diverse group of employees to challenge and help them grow and understand the role they play with Responsible Recycling (R2) and our core values. I also promote a positive work environment, open to suggestion and constructive criticism, which works both ways.

My responsibilities included motivating team members to ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets were met. Frequent team and one on one meetings took place to ensure the everyone was on check with the always changing business environment. Daily communication with different departments such as Planning, Transportation, and Customer Service as well as Production and QA to provide a seamless operation between product being produced to delivery to the customer.
