I have been in law enforcement since 2005. In that time, I worked in many different training roles, from driving instructor, CPR, and Tactical Medical Training, to high risk traffic stops.During my law enforcement career I have taken over 844 hours of advanced training courses and of those over 342 hours are instructor courses. I have gained a vast knowledge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s training requirements necessary to train in compliance with their regulations.As a Field Training Officer for the last ten years, I have logged well over 2,000 hours training new officers in the field. I have taught basic recruits at the Indian River State College Law Enforcement Academy since 2014, as well as instructed Fort Pierce Police Department’s Mini-Police Academy. In 2020, I was awarded the task of developing and teaching the Fort Pierce Police Departments first ever Community Service Officer Academy, allowing the trainees to be certified in the fields of traffic crash investigation, traffic control, and citation writing.
