Student Researcher (Sept. 2011 – Dec. 2012)-Gained in-depth knowledge of Cordylophora caspia biology through the care and propagation of 20 distinct genotypes using Fulton’s 1962 methods. -Designed and carried out an experiment on the effects of salinity on the growth rate of Cordylophora caspia.-Obtained gonophore production in Cordylophora caspia colonies, leading to an investigation into the life cycle of Cordylophora caspia.Research Leader (Jan. 2013—May 2013)-Project leader for a group of student researchers in the investigation of Cordylophora caspia-Organized schedules and timetables for completing steps of a research projectSummer Research (Summer 2013)-Investigated the life cycle and culturing techniques for Craspedacusat sowebrii-Presented findings at the Thirteenth International Congress on Invertebrate Reproduction and Development (July 14-19th, 2013).
